Haukur Hafsteinsson is a former researcher at the Turbomachinery & Aeroacoustics Group at the Department of Applied Mechanics (Division of Fluid Mechanics) at Chalmers University of Technology. He has a PhD in Aeroacustics from Chalmers University of Technology (2014). His main research interests are numerical simulations of compressible flows (CFD) and computational aero-acoustics (CAA) related to supersonic jet noise and flow control methods for noise reduction.
